People experiencing homelessness because of their mental illness are especially in need of stability provided by housing. They should also look for local NAMI programs (http://namisavannah.org) & programs like a Clubhouse model (http://reed-house.org) that can bring them access to other resources so vital to recovery, based on a work-ordered-day with access to work programs that help the recovery become complete with a sense of belonging, self-worth & being a contributing member of the community! Isn;t that what mental health recovery is all about?
